Depart the U.S.A. on individual flights for Tel Aviv.
Wednesday, May 26
Arrive in Tel Aviv and private transfer to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel included.
Thursday, May 27
Breakfast and morning lectures. Afternoon visit to the Holocaust Museum. Situated on Jerusalem’s Mount of Remembrance, Yad Vashem’s comprises all the necessary components for a meaningful and dynamic commemoration of the Holocaust and its six million Jewish victims. The Holocaust History Museum, the Hall of Names,
the Hall of Remembrance, the Museum of Holocaust Art, the Valley of the Communities, the Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations and the outdoor memorials and sculptures are all an essential part of any visit to Yad Vashem. Dinner included.
Friday, May 28
Breakfast and morning lectures. Afternoon visit to Mount Zion. In the cellar of a building near King David’s Tomb is a sign indicating the entrance to the Chamber of the Holocaust, an eerie room lit by candles and dedicated to the memory of the six million Jews slain by the Nazis. The chamber, a private memorial & museum, is filled with artifacts from the Holocaust. Meet the rest of the VDH group at our welcome reception and dinner.
